How society changes

Once upon a time we laughed at casting couch stories. Now we have Harvey Weinstein and #metoo and we've stopped laughing.

This story back then would have been seen as a parody, with the roles reversed from the casting couch.

But what we have here is a person in a position of power using that power imbalance to get what they want. No difference.

Ann is progressively publishing stories from her trove written some time ago. Maybe this one should have been left in the locker?

Well written as usual, though.
