Oh, but one oopsie. West Virginia did not exist in 1821. West Virginia was formed by 48 counties that succeeded from Virginia when Virginia succeeded from the US. That was early 1860's.
Darque_Lyte13 days agoI am very curious about where his powers are going to lead. Will he awaken Evie? Will he learn to enhance his allies? Will he figure out how to be chemical warfare and manipulate allies bodies to withstand it? If he can totally download someone then can he also reinstall them in another body and if so could he find perfect evo bodies to enhance and use for such installation? I have so many more questions and wonder which will be answered and what will happen.
Anonymous13 days agoYou packed a lot into a great chapter. Pete's integration back home will be a tough chapter for him and readers. Bob is going have a rough time as well.
Oh, and loved the reappearance of the mole. Don't know why I laughed so hard at his first emergence and Pete's surprise. He is a great character.

Anonymous11 days agoBrilliant. One suggestion I would like to make is when Pete presumably catches up with Marco, he should use Marco's apparent Acrophobia, which he seemed to display when he stood atop Pete's city wall, as a weapon against him. I'm already looking forward to the next update.
You have ruled it out in the past, but I would love to see Faye given a new body. If Pete has downloaded her entire consciousness, as seems to be the case, then should he not be able to upload it back into a living body, which Faye could then change with her powers, so it is identical to the previous one she had? Same with Uri.
For example, a person in a vegetative state, with the previous mind already completely destroyed should be relatively easy for Pete to find and use. If it needs to be an Evo body to work, then Pete will probably soon encounter a few evil Evo's whose minds he can wipe. This could also be used to give Pete a hidden advantage over their opponents, since it is known that Uri and to a lesser extent Faye are dead and them living again will not be anticipated by any enemies.

Heads up though. For some reason your new "next part" that should be clickable at the end of each chapter, (underneath where it says: READ MORE OF THIS SERIES) never shows up for this series whenever you have a new chapter. It's very odd. So each time when i want to check if there's a new chapter of your series i have to do it "manually", i.e. find your account name, click on works, find the series and click on it there. It's been this way for a couple of months at least. It works on other series im following on here though. Does anyone else have a similar problem?
