I have been married for 40 years and couldn't have expressed love any better than you did. Thank you.
A beautiful story and well written. Their love shines through it. Thank you.
With tears in these old eyes and a big, big lump in my throat, I can only say thank you for your story. It truly touched my heart.
What a beautiful way to describe a love story!!!!!!!
Am in tears now!!!
Please keep up the good work!!!!
I really liked this. It's a beautiful piece and I'm glad you talked about organ donation. (My best friend just got a new heart and lungs).
A couple points about an organ donor - if she was being prepped for harvesting, her hand would still be warm because they don't pull the life support until the vital organs are harvested. If she 'died instantly', it's unlikely she would be able to be a donor unless they got her heart beating in the field and she came into the ER brain dead. Minor detail but thought I'd note it.
One of the best written romance stories I've ever read. It's either written from personal experience or about a dear friend's. Got my tears, my friend. Keep up the good, thoughtful, real-life work.
Really, I do. You are, by far, one of the best writers at Literotica. Please, keep writing. Looking forward to more brilliance from you. :) Take care.
You should write a follow up since the way the story ends is so sad. What happens to Henry? Does he find another love?
please let us know in advance that the story is gonna end as tragic... I was all smiles a moment... And then had tears in another....
Soo beautiful story... With such a sad end.... Loved it :)
Great story and you did a nice job of controlling our emotions, bringing them to the surface just at the very end.
Thank you for writing this. I hope to continue to read your stories.
5***** from me.

The imagery and emotions of the story were so vivid i was in tears by the end
This is an exceptional story.
Wow.
This moved me deeply. I knew when she went into the woods that she was gone, but the ending still pushed me off the emotional cliff.
Very well done.
Is a song by Mark Schultz in the same vein as this story. It brings a smile to my face and tears to my eyes each time I hear it.
Check it out.
you do know how touch a chord in someones heart. A beautiful story of the days gone by. hats off
My parents had a magical marriage like this. They were still deeply in love when they passed away. 63 years.
Except for the ending, I saw a replay of my wife and I exploring sex in the story. You've done a great job of capturing teenage and married young love. Oh, to relive those days again!
Thanks for the memories, as Bob Hope used to say.
Just finished reading one of this genre's best stories. Thank you for the time well spent reading this gem.
Terrific story, guy. I'm not ashamed to admit I burst into tears when it became obvious that Helen was gone.
Had the option of fold down front seat backs which made up a very nice bed. (Thanks Dad.)
I just read your Wyoming story and thought I would read some others. I'm totally speechless. A remembrance of / with a loved one like no other
