Hi my name is Colette, I have been a volunteer proof reader at DP (Distributed Proofreaders) for years. I prefer proof reading to formating or structural editing but of course I will do structural editing if needed. I checked the boxes below to indicate my interests, but I won't be reading for fun, I'll be reading critically looking for grammar, punctuation, flow, correcting as I read. Please indicate the type of editing you require in your email. I won't edit your plot or your characters unless you specify so. With the exception of authors I already edit for (you know who you are) please don't send me stories that have previously been edited by another editor and unless you are willing to give me total freedom to change your story (if needed) don't send me a story that has already been submitted and approved here.
