For the longest time I've been impressed by not just the words used and stories created in most erotic literature. What sets better authors apart though, is their ability to create a credible, consistent story line. In my humble opinion, grammar and spelling can mostly automatically be corrected these days by using easily accessed tools. As an author of many documents during my working life and stories of all types, including erotic (some to be here soon), I have found that we can be so close to our writing, that we can miss where the story doesn't fully align. So I see that the main job of an editor is to apply a fresh set of eyes to a piece of work created by an author. The aim is to ensure that the storyline is consistent and credible - especially as almost all work here is fantasy. Sure there are some spelling and grammatical errors that will be found, but a storyline that can be believed/is consistent, just makes for much much better reading. And we all want that - authors and readers alike. As I start editing, I am willing to read anything and will learn where my preferences/red lines are. I do have a penchant for Transgender, gay, lesbian and incest stories though. As an Australian who has lived in the US, I'm familiar with the spelling differences (errors used in the US - LOL) and colloquial terms used in most English speaking countries. Always happy to help. Good writing to you all!!
