Okay, let's all toss a couple (no more than 5?) really high-quality net sites onto this list, shall we?
Only include those in which you have personally done a lot of browsing and can attest to the quality of the info they offer. Let's not give out the names of questionable site, okay?
Please link to the place on the site that holds the good-for-newbies info. (In other words, one of my sites, LATCHES, has a LOT of info but the link i've provided goes directly to the place that's of interest to those just coming to an investigation of BDSM. We don't want our newbies having to dig through a bunch of *other* BDSM stuff to get to what is of immediate interest to them.)
As you know, following other links inside these links will take a person to the main site page where they'll be able access much more information than is contained inside the link you provide here. Please be sure the whole site you offer, then, is of high quality, okay?
Newbies Knock Here

The Beginner's Guide to Bondage and Domination

The BDSM Resource Center
http://www.thebrc.net/home.htm
(You have to navigate inside this site.
Do this: Articles --> By Topic --> BDSM 101 --> The Basics)
The BDSM Newbies Pack or "Or "I think I'm a pervert. What now?"
http://charas.hypermart.net/newbies.htm
And finally, what has become a standard intro site, James Bryant's "The Beginners Guide to Dominance and Submission"
