Okay, let's all toss a couple (no more than 5?) really high-quality net sites onto this list, shall we?

Only include those in which you have personally done a lot of browsing and can attest to the quality of the info they offer. Let's not give out the names of questionable site, okay?

Please link to the place on the site that holds the good-for-newbies info. (In other words, one of my sites, LATCHES, has a LOT of info but the link i've provided goes directly to the place that's of interest to those just coming to an investigation of BDSM. We don't want our newbies having to dig through a bunch of *other* BDSM stuff to get to what is of immediate interest to them.)

As you know, following other links inside these links will take a person to the main site page where they'll be able access much more information than is contained inside the link you provide here. Please be sure the whole site you offer, then, is of high quality, okay?

Thanks for the sites, I look forward to checking them out. I find myself sitting for hours in front of this electronic box, absorbing the information as fast as my brain can handle. All referrals are greatly appreciated.:rose:

The society for human sexuality has a wonderfully diverse set of essays, FAQs and other info on BDSM and all its divergent forms, as well as a wide variety of info on *all* things sexual. Perhaps the single best source of overview information around, and all free to anyone interested.
BDSM at SHS

The BDSM cafe has lots of content, and all free. They've got info, links, stories, forums, etc. etc. etc. Cruise to your heart's content.
BDSM Cafe

Between those two sites, you could be reading for a month or more, so I'll leave it at that.

ty Blue... although if it is cym's av, i should change it, i think... i have a fixation with breast play, and that is why i chose it... :D ... oh well, there are others.... thanks again... hugs.. sierra

sierra, that av looks better on you than it ever did on me!
Have at it, darlin'.

However, if we're both gonna be going for the same avs, perhaps we might want to go off someplace and talk our choices over. Can't show up at the dance with the same dress on, can we?
:p

Greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much for posting these links. I am currently training my wife as a sub, and all the information on doing this properly without destroying our relationship is welcome.

Any questions you have, FdiskIt, please feel free to begin a thread here and ask. We have all kinds of people who come here regularly, all levels of experience, including couples who've been where you are now and moved into a fully committed BDSM husband-wife Dom/me-sub relationship.

Welcome to the BDSM forum.

As some of my friends here at lit know I am also a newbie to BDSM. But I am still working my way or wading through the information highway and not really answering some of the questions I have. Thank you Cym for some more links to look at I am looking forward to looking through them tonight.

This is more of a collection of links, but I was impressed that most are working. I'd
caution about buying toys from web sites. You can usually get better prices on
Ebay.

Someone referred me to this site:

http://www.bdsmlife.net/dsworld/

It's an on-line mag on BDSM...in particular, she mentioned that there is a series of stories about a character named Giselle that's a pretty good view of entering the BDSM lifestyle (from the point of view of a sub female, anyways!).
