Click hereAn atmosphere of calm, a scenery of ease.
A sweet and gentle face with a smile to please.
Voices floating in the air, time drifting by.
The face across the room would calm the nerves of any guy.
A face is just a face, so what’s so special in this case.
The way the eyes and nose and mouth fit perfectly in their place.
Or maybe it’s that voice, the French accent seems to refresh.
Thrown amidst the chaos that all waiting rooms seem to posses.
I have no name to match this face, and probably never will.
The mystery of who this person is helps the excitement and thrill.
So many different faces from so many different places with so many different stories to tell.
But each and every face comes to the same place for the same reason which is simply to get well.
Of all the many faces I see before me now, only one stands out like a splinter.
And of all the new faces I’ve seen come through the door I’m sure that face is the one I will remember.
Maybe I’ll get the courage to get her name as I pass by.
But I’m sure on my way out the door, instead of what’s your name all I’ll say is good-bye.

I'll see your face before me - haunting my future dreams. At a loss for words ~ I just say goodbye. Poignant and sweet.
A poem with the premise of two ships passing in the night though here it's in a waiting room;
And oh the opportunity lost...
