I really enjoyed this poem -- the images and the symbolism, the idea of the fish being like life or something you want in life -- elusive, desirable, just out of reach. Excellent work!

Speaking as a woman that does not fish, I enjoyed this immensely! Love the word play.

Not big on fishing ~ so there, now you know my character flaw ~ but loved that ending ~ can just feel the frustration.
