I watched you two tonight
As you laughed and wined and dined
In the soft, romantic light
I could see that I was on your mind

She may take you in her folds
She may stroke, caress and dote
But my grip on you still holds
I feel your memory lodged in my throat

Through the motel room wall
I can hear her grunt and groan
She's but a blow-up doll
Compared to the toy that you used to own

A boat without its anchor
Or like a plant deprived of its root
I lay here filled with rancor
My fingers are no substitute

So enjoy your little tryst
As she takes in your cock with glee
I'm the fate you can't resist
And you know you'll come back into me

Hopeful

Sad but hopeful. The optimism is spelled out clear as day (or night). One suggestion: delete "like' from second line in fourth stanza; not needed.
