I happened at the crossroads
with a man familiar but unknown.
Our eyes met. He smiled. I swallowed
hard tried to forget. Been on the run
for two years. Both funds and patience
are at an all time low. No difference
between a call and a flute.

You Blow Them Both

To make them do what they should.

Liked it

I totally agree with maria. I liked the rhythm - redolent of an old fashioned American crime story or film. Am also totally lost by the last line.

I liked

the rhythm, and it seemed fast, if that makes sense. However, I was left wondering about the last line. You lost me. still a good work.
