Lovely

What a beautifully expressed description of wonderment - absolutely delightful. Sweet O.

Lovely sonnet, Demure, and the meter doesn't feel forced to me, something I first look for with iambic pentameter, whether it's in a sonnet or blank verse. I did think, however, "majestic way" and "darkling sky" a bit antiquated, more like something a poet might have said at the close of the nineteenth century before Messrs. Pound and Eliot came along.

through a child's eyes...a sonnet? why? what does the form do for the subject? just something to think about

i see mixed reactions

i for one think its a beautiful sonnet with seamless iambic. The more i read your poems the more i relish them.

there is much that amazes me

I saw a child look at the sky today –

It made me long to see things in her way.
