Black flashes darkness

Black flashes darkness
        in the night
    I smell the leather
          as it touches me
         feel its dark kisses
        on my flesh.

Night blooming flower
        a cirrus in dark
                gray in dim moonlight
             as color is felt
          black leather
        a delicate bloom.

A thousand sleepless nights
        defined
                as my skin burns
              red blossoms
           in withered petals
        as I whisper: rose.
