straight up 5

so cleverly put together, imo, and some truly lovely lines in this. vibrant contrasts between the sparkling and the dusty, faded...

should not be put

in dusty drawers or stuck upon the wall

to fade unnoticed - I should try and wear

them on my hat to mingle with the stars

cold rain will drown those stars and I'll feel grey

and tired - an old moth that's sitting there.

i really like this, lots!

Butterflies flutter by...

...like some memories, truly beautiful but sadly transient. As memories are of the past, and cannot be held for more then the moment of their appearance, so too the fleeting presence of the butterflies. We can't really hold on to them, can we, else we'll destroy them, and their power to spread their beauty.

A very pretty poem!
