dear twelveoone

I don't know what the sig is of 1201 unless it was a prison number but do me a favor and when you see a poem by me, don't read it and don't comment. You obviously are a talented poet, I have read with appreciation a number of your poems, however as a critic you suck. You always seem in a bad mood, I think I have a good idea who you are from reading your work and I commiserate with your sad life; however there is no reason to puke that sadness on the rest of us. I don't know what qualification you bring to Van Gogh's chair, but as there is a pipe in the chair I would have though this poem or that pipe belongs right up your alley. I am sure that some merit can be dribbled out of your comments but you seem to have a limited idea of poetry and that it must follow your road or it dead ends, I disagree. If you study the poem you generalized about you might find some philosophy to help you deal with your own problems. I wish you the best and will continue to enjoy your work but not your manner of attacking others and myself, basta!

one more thing 1201

I want to complement you on Mythos, a very interesting moving poem and if i was a bit cruel, well you obviously piss me and others off. Guess thats how you get your thrill, ehh?

A little harsh E

If you don't want comments don't enable them when you submit.. Twelve oh gave you his honest impression of your work and did not hide behind the smoke of Anon. I. however said nothing about it. There is good content here but I also thought the rhymes were off.

yes Harry,

you are right in regard to comments and I appreciate yours; I don't mind comments. However I thought the ones I objected to were mean spirited and thoughtless and just a litany of crapola, as are those left by the same party to others and as Paddy Chayefsky wrote, "I am mad as hell and I am not going to take it anymore." When someone shits on your head there is no reason to make believe it is rain and my annoyance with this 1201 has been a long time coming. And I am not the only one as evidenced by assorted comments of others pertaining to said 1201 that are enshrined with his poems.

Up in Smoke...

Erectus, Thanks again for a grand ballad...... In my humble opinion there is no right or wrong when a writer shares their work.... It either stands upon its own merits or it does not, and no matter what style or subject, we as writers are not going to please the masses..... A good Cuban and Cognac has always been a fine moment to relish... Thanks for sharing...

Erectus

Thank you. For your comment, really enjoyed the flavour behind this one too.

In reply; Not so much the dangers, more the fact it's unhealthy.

That is a great profile picture by the way!
