Unspoken desires burn hot and time fans the flames. The kiss finally quenches the need for the question, never spoken, only answered: "What could be?"

The first kiss; the one that burns within our memory, evermore. Ours would be a kiss shared long before we ever taste its first breath on our lips, planted in our thoughts, alive and growing, fed on unsated desires. I wonder if such a kiss could be endured. Would it burn so hot we'd find ourselves consumed? Would we rise up like dust and be blown away forever?

I don't know what it is to feel your touch upon my skin. You're not one to be defeated. You craft your words so well they penetrate me deep inside and I can feel you touching me in places that my flesh would not allow. At night I dream you take me in your arms and hold the flesh you move within and I am no more than the space between your touch. I wonder ... if I woke and you were here to hold me would I break? Would your hand be too weighted by the words you've put in me to feel?

I dream of someday knowing what it is to feel your touch but until then, I beg you tell me more.
