We men are suckers and fall for that smile every time.

here I am like an old school marm; would change "waste" to some other word, used too often
Like toxic waste of lust
You are good with end rhyme, me not being a fan of it

TRUE!
Vixx, your talent is just off the charts! I love how you can end a poem with a thought provoking phrase or sentence; the kind that causes the hairs on the nape of the reader's neck to rise.
Again, this is another testament to your brilliance as a writer. Thank you for the privilege being able to read your amazing work!

here, gives the piece its seductive hold of magnetic tease. taint the heart with this toxic doom has left me succumbed in its powder of lure. this ought to tell you that i love this very much!!!......we really need to set up two plates soon.......don
Almost TOO close to home! Like the viper that slithers into the night, invading the spirit, the heart and soul, striking it's evil poison, paralzing, unable to breathe. Unless an antidote can be found, given. Love is that healing sav. Even across vast distances it can cure, sooth, and bring about recovery.
Very well done my very special friend. Very well done.
I am...Many Feathers. But then you know, I will always remain...*wink*
Such images this poem fills my head with...wicked dear lady very wicked
Great phrase! Wonderful poem. Thanks for sharing! ~Imp
Ohhhhhh - that smile
The one that makes men mad and losing all resolve
submitting to all her desires, just for another glimpse
of that soul-dissolving smile.
It lights him up as well, he floats for days on end
and when all else is lost, remembers that potent smile.
I close my eyes, I look away, my freedom's just too dear
But should I find that special one,
I'll look without a moment's fear
and submit my soul for all eternity.
Vixxx - you've found me out - my deepest, darkest, secret weakness revealed - this goes to my list of favs.
She is so bad - she has GOT to be a vampire sucking the life right out of you. And you say it so sweetly, this has just GOT to be a fav!!!
With those killer smiles that they wield, are not women the true vampires? I'll never look on her smile in such trusting innocence.
Any woman knows the power of her smile; this woman you write of here carries that power even further until her victim begs for her to have her way with him!
I saw this as one of Leon's faves and read it awhile back (and immediately made it a fave of mine as well). Just now getting around to commenting. That's a pretty dark and sexy look at the power of a woman. With just a smile get men to do your bidding--in the real world too, of course. Done all in innocence it can be soooo much fun. They'll never know what hit 'em!!! CP
We all know that, the power of our smiles and the things we can get a mere mortal man to do for us. They are soooo easy! Billie
