Cowering in the shadows
afraid to face the truth
that's standing in the way
So I can't follow through.

I open my heart.

I hide within the lies I've told
to friend, to love, to death.
I shiver in the black of night
I shiver from lack of someone to hold me.

Let me cry in your arms.

Teardrops in the morning, fall
from a head held High and proud.
In daylight I will hide my heart,
At night I show it, finally strong

I desire your touch.

Tell me love how long it takes,
to tell me how you feel?
I'd give you til the end of time,
far after, I am sure.

your passion's uplifting

Please tell me soon
My love so true
Don't let me fall
from love with you.

I need you so much.

Clearly stated...

...and you made the 4-1-4 layout work well. I like this line...
