Fiery memories, molten sunsets that fade
Heart’s empty pounding yearns to be filled
Buying affections and attentions I wade
Into the cesspool of desire served chilled

Painful longing, waves pounding the shore
Erodes faith in all things that I know to be true
Your thoughts of me become dim evermore
My thoughts of happiness blur without you

Scream to me now my name on your lips
I’ll fly to you, lover, on wings of the gods
Cling to me now as our love will eclipse
The reasons that kept us apart and at odds

Stand with me, lover, on this desolate shore
Be mine forever, I’m yours evermore
