The gargoyle watches with a leer

"Leer" is a terrible end rhyme in any poem ever written. The sentence: "The gargoyle watches with a leer." is mildly nonsensical, you probably meant to say 'the gargoyle leers while he watches' but that doesn't fit the semi-form you've got going. 'Leers' is still a terrible word in a poem. I didn't read the rest of your poems because of it, so maybe you have better lines. just my immediate opinion, keep on trucking etc.

@Epmd607

Thanks for the FB - I do appreciate it.

However, '"Leer" is a terrible end rhyme in any poem ever written' is such a dreadful sentence, I didn't read the rest of your comment.

Cheers, Assco
