I can see the dominoes fall
I can see where they are going
An insight to where I must head
Unveiling what my life is showing
I feel I can not live for myself
I have passed the time of unfulfilled dreams
Other lives are more precious to me
My actions are not what it seems
I pave the road from my words
I build the bridges with my actions
Anyone, even the damned may cross
To become whole from their fractions
If I can make a day's difference
And the world has improved slightly
Why stop when days become weeks
Time is something I do not take lightly
Have you ever just held the door
Even if the stranger didn't have a clue
The simplest tasks become grand gestures
You don't have to make it about you
I see the dominoes so clearly now
I plan ahead to where they will land
Before its over my presence will be felt
Like a tree's shade is for man
I am selfless in my outlook
Although others might see me otherwise
There is pleasure in helping others
In the end that is life's prize.
