Starlight falls, a mid night's dream
holding closed an unfastened seam
rip the shreds of uncertainty
to the core of constancy

Ever holding in the night
inner questions strive and fight
Whispers of love ring in the ear
never will shed an unhappy tear

torn to the heart it pulls fears apart
secrets are told a love to behold

maybe tomorrow maybe today
struggling arrangements of favored array.
striving to please and striving to meet
the endless destrustion of love's first defeat.

Really enjoyed this!

A great read, loved your wording

maybe tomorrow maybe today

struggling arrangements of favored array.

striving to please and striving to meet

the endless destrustion of love's first defeat.

An excellent ending to a powerful poem ~ J
