Family Bond

byZeckBock©

You glow so bright, my twin,
when I don't stand in your way.
Do you remember Mother giving us life?
No, you wouldn't would you?
You were gray and dead
the moment you were born.

I was so full of life. I still am.
Chaotic, random, yet there was a blueprint
for my future.
You were there solely to take the
brunt of Mothers' fits.
What an admirable job you did, poor sister.
The scars will forever marr your face.

The early years were so very hot!
My insides were churning with ecstasy,
yours were cold and barren but without you
there could be no me...at least not the same.

Your tug was so strong in the beginning,
how closely we twirled about!
Yet now you receed from me...
it hurts but I know it must happen.

Soon, you'll be on your own.
Bittersweet the parting will be,
but you'll forever shine in Mothers'
constant glow.

Take solace in that,sweet sister.
Dead sister.
Godspeed.
