Forever is said but then it ends
Friendships formed only to be torn
Memories of time lost to pain
Insanity consuming all we hope to regain

We can try to climb these mountains
We can die in the search for another
Another place we can call our own

Forever we say and forever we pay
The price of believing in hope
We sever our ties but never tell lies
Forever we'll fall, forever we will fall
From grace to pain laced with love

Eternity is told but it fades
Comrades bond only to be shot
History lost to propaganda
Majesty consumed by greed we sought to end

We will fall and stand up once again
We may die in the pain of each other
But we will see it through to the end

(Chorus)

This Eden we strived for
Has never been and never will be
We fell to our knees
They tell of our deeds
Of how we lost the will to go on
Our time, our pride, our every imperfection
Come to an end in love and poison
