Frenchman’s Street threesome

Artless and artful all at once
dancing jitterbug with bosomy knocked-kneed grace,
she wore an angelic smile on her big-lipped face.
Watching her I switched from wine to whisky
and once I caught a buzz I joined her on the floor
doing the steps the best I could.
Then we kissed – a few tourists winced.
We spent the weekend at her little flat,
all naked and happy as purring cats,
all playing with each other's jitterbug bodies,
all swinging to our own Dixieland jazz.
