on the glasses. it's very captivating, and the poem makes me think i ought to be held captive....*wink* i wonder what you have in store for the next one. my favorite in this poem is right here:
Slay me with your pyre lips
and dragon tongue, the sword on which
my sacrificial soul
splays helplessly impaled.
Stab me with your foil of want;
lunging thrusts of longing need
that jab and pierce
until I bleed... your desire’s scabbard death
******
it really pulls me in right from the start. superb job!!
don
and gripping, the depth of the poem drives right thru hell and come out the other side in china land of the dragon <grin> I just love the lure to yearning for the kiss/bite of death. wanton poetress!
Too late to include this inside my introduction on "Dragon's Breath", which BTW is now scheduled to be available this June! BUT...I would love, when I have completed the second book, to include this beautiful, sensual...very thought provoking poem as an intro for my continuing Saga. Oh baby...it would fit so nicely!
Well done Vixxx, as always you make Your Man of Sand smile. (Among other things)
You smoke, Darlin'. This is an epic in a sense as there is a story within this hot write.
I'm face down, and spinning like a top ;)
MIss Molly!! jeez, how murderously you slay with your perfect alliteration. Some excellent lines and awesome descriptions in this poem. really, really good!!
Wow... I need to call my hubby and order him home now.... HOT!
What a celebration of the power of expression in a single kiss! Oh to be kissed ...again... by the lover who makes you crave from that very first kiss, to crave so badly as to be oblivious to the worst of consequences! I loved it.
I just love this..almost as much as my favorite "Cyanide Smile." It's as though these two show a male/female perspective on the eroticism of vampiric surrender. Patricia
