This anger is getting to be too much to bear,
My heart is tearing and its too loud
too loud.
"No . . . no, you're right."
I can't hear my sobs - they're buried under daggers
Daggers that I've swallowed,
Cutting open the only thing we had,
I can't think straight,
Can't see straight,
I can't breathe.
"Hold on a second, I'll be right back."
What do you want from me?
I've already given you all of me,
how much more?
"How much more do you need?"
I'm so confused, I'm confused.
If I've already given all I can give,
how can you ask for more?
"It's alright."
I'm eating magnolias
swallowing them down

pretending . . .

they . . .

don't . . .

exist. . . .
