These are nothing but words,
But words they grow in time for something pure and warm
Could they just be ramblings in my sight
Or am I hearing music in my mind?
Tears they stoop to fall
What once was blue and bright soon becomes
Something rather dull
My heart begs still for that lonely light
But I'm still hearing music inside my mind.
Love, how long I've fought
To hold you so close, I think I'm going to fall
You left me last night but I still wish for more
Was you just a figment of some disguise
Or am I still feeling music in my mind?
But these are only just words
And I know there's never enough to knock past your door
But if I've never said it before, now I think you must know
That you're the sweetest music I ever wrote.
