This is brilliant. Stark, moving and beautiful. One of my favorites, JD4G.
...great poem. This is one of those cases where I'd like to know the story behind - the seed - of this poem. I love the last verse.....
"She is the morning
a tear hidden in whispers
soothing the bleeding wounds
letting the mind regain
forgotten sanity
Two hands
not quite touching
watch my chains fall away
I am free "
...but the whole is so good.
need me to tell you, these are great lines:
"scratching the star sparkle"
"chiding the eyes of memory"
Lose this:
"sparks turning into embers"
