...wonderful imagery, line after line. Perhaps it should be broken into 3 stanzas -- 1st one ending with....'ripples called to me.'.....2nd ending with....'sing lullabies to them'? -- just a thought.

TRH: Sometimes when I've read a poem I've enjoyed, I think to myself, "If I tried I could write like that." I couldn't begin to approach yours in a hundred years. Incredible! Fantastic! And a whole lot more superlatives!
