The ocean flows by timeless;
Without any end, without any beginning.
Always watching, always waiting.
Ever changing - moods passing swiftly,
Calm and then raging,
Both flirting across the space of a minute.

Mirroring ages, people and time;
A lifetime of a person, whether high or low,
Make no dent in that wide space of nothingness’ with the deep wisdom of forever.
Laws, acts, years and eras;
Come and then go, without record.

Our loves and losses are not noticed when measured against the vastness of its depths.
Unconquerable, unfathomable it flows;
A teardrops length from hell and a raindrops width from heaven.
How little our desires; how worthless our dreams.
We are gone in but a second;
The oceans flow on regardless.

Lovely images...

of the ocean's ceaseless transformations throughout the passage of time, and how oblivious it is of life's events.

love it

We seem so small as we stand by her shore. I find

comfort in that. You have a good one here that

flowed well.
