Pluto of the children
Pluto of adults
Pluto the dog
And Pluto the dwarf

Pluto of astronomers
Is that Xena’s Pluto now?
Pluto of old Solar Systems
Of dusty shelves

Big fantastic dreams
Small planets
Reminiscent
Of our old beliefs
And our childhood

Simple yet

striking, saying volumes with minimalist wording, I love it.

nice poem

I like the way you play with the definition of Pluto in the same way astronomers play with the definition of planet. Bookending the poem with lines about children and having dusty shelves inbetween was a nice touch!
