Wow!
The rain in the northwest has turned acid with a tang of salt from off the sea.
Far different from the gentle mist that often soothes our eyes.
This time the poet has shown a different side of life and talent.
There is little to comment on.
This poem is different, but well worth reading.
Full of things like:
"every splinter
like a triangle of glass
from broken picture frame
pulled slowly from the sole of my foot"
A strong, painful, and gripping image.
I think this very nicely portrays how we all feel about life in general from time to time. Sometimes more often than not it would seem of late...but nevertheless, this poem emphasises the true nature of each of us, in bold honesty, if we're willing to admit it to ourselves. Thank you so much for letting me feel this. Which I truly did.

You know, this is the kind of poem novice poets need to read. So many people are submitting poetry here and some of it is lacking in ways too numerous to mention. They should read this and see what a real poem is all about.
