If all we are is grains of broken sand
but gusts on the winds of Glorious Thought
does not life weigh on us like sea on land?
Corroding the metal of which we're wrought?
Every passing day brings closer Dark Death
If Life be mortal, Time is terminal.
And as the sun sets we take our last breathe
Night falling casts our lives in dark eternal.
Mourn not the dark for it heralds the Dawn!
As one life's sun sets, another must rise
and yet though a loved one may now be gone
A new heart beats, and new thought flies.
If truth here may be told you might just find
that Death be not evil, oh no, Death is kind.

Death is Kind!
