of imagery! each connects and supports the next rather than pulling in opposition.
'aniseed pelvis' is definitely original phrasing, and i love the sounds in 'the delta beguiled'... so rounded, curving, meandering, spreading... all that conjured by 3 words and their sounds.

'aniseed' we're going for scent of anise? If so, the image doesn't work for me.
