Swimmin' in the rain ....
 Let the World Cup be won by Spain ,
After a Hot'n Dusty Summer
 Monsoon come again ....
splashin' my shoulders'n back
 as i swim'n swim again ....

 Heavenly feels the rain ...
Dark are the clouds , darker is the pool
 my companions have left but i'm a happy fool,
Swimmin' in the Monsoon taketh away the pain
 Splashin' my head 'n shoulders ....
Please splash my back again ,
 a few onlookers cluster under umbrellas
but i'm in Paradise again ,
 O for my beloved Monsoon ....
Lord , please let thy child swim 'n swim again,
 May the World Cup be held in Madrid
