The girl in the white sundress
Spins
tanned skin kissing the breeze
corn silk hair caressed by sunshine
a country ballerina - mute - but for the light pitter-pat of bare feet on hard dirt

The girl in the white sundress
Beckons
with the innocence of youth barely blossomed
with the pristine promise of flesh untouched
her eyes tell you it is only the sacred things that are worth touching

The girl in the white sundress
Smiles
up at you from under the sunflowers
nestled between the dark stems
green as the unfurrowed land

The girl in the white sundress
Giggles
as she fixes her hair and makes a new daisy chain
smoothes her cotton skirt and watches you walk away
she leans against the white painted fence - ready to dance again

The girl in the white sundress
Lies
wordlessly to you
speaks never a word
she is a liar - a liar

Okay...

call me a sucker, but to me it was sexy...and those sexy ones are always liars! Good ending.
