the heart beats
on my brow
the sun gives me heat
so is the thought

Suffering
the distance grows
longer than we wanted to feel
time only could tell

sleeps the day

BadSantaabout 13 years agoWhat a statement!! You captured the poignancy of lost love--yet though lost, he still dreams of her. "Been there, done that"--but never quite saw it expressed exactly this way.... Good job, DSoul!!
