Their Silence

The silence that falls along with the night
In but a few hours shall vanish from sight
As each day the sun shall set in the east
In the mean time all creatures ready to feast
For under the cover of darkness so fair
All manner of creatures suck from the air

The life of the dead their po'er and their death
The creatures shall drink from dead man's breath
For as one creature dies another shall live
And those who are dead to them their strength give
And soon all creatures shall fall into death
And then other creatures shall spring from their breath

Their life burns within them a new kindled flame
The cycle goes round and round the same
And when you sleep and go to ground
The earth shall dampen your every sound
Your silent screams shall not be known
Your pain unto man shall not be shown

Now live in life and sleep in death
Draw in life and take in breath
Now don't be scared of death just live
And in your death new life you'll give
Think on that and you will see
That your life shall live eternally

Round and round and round you go
Your life will go to high and low
To life of sea and ground and sky
All shall change when you die
And to all life's troubles I tell you cease
Rest and lie and sleep at peace
