'Til Death Us Do Part...

Yes, I love this poem. I know how it feels when you are treated that way. Hope you are doing ok!

Saying goodbye.

Lament for a love lost to another. Wishes and admonishments as she closes love's door. A poetic pearl!

Lesson Learned

She has felt the pain

Has learned well his lessons

And now she's gone

And someone will learn

Tomcats are eternal and unchanged

As are their stripes

We're cursed by the choices we make.

Yeah, I know that's in the poem. Here, I'm talking about setting up metered rhyming patterns, and then abandoning them. Metaphorically, you made a vow and broke it.

Like I said, we're cursed by the choices we make.

This poem is worth tightening the meter.

At first...

I thought this was going to be an angry poem, but it turned out to be a very sad one instead. I could really feel the hurt. Nice job.
