There are many moments when I still think about you and where you are and what you're doing
I always wonder if you think the same of me and where I am and whom I'm doing and it
Leads me to believe that, perhaps, we meant something to each other.
Perhaps.
I acknowledge I was just a stupid kid back then, a stupid girl who wanted the world
You tried to give me what you could and I appreciate that now even if I could not back then
Please take this apology, years overdue, for the hurt I caused and the tears I brought
Just know that I still wonder about you and want the best for you and that's all I can really do
