She is drawn to him, unable to stay away.
Flirting she dances close then far,
Hoping that he will notice her in the crowd;
But he stands immovable, uncaring.

More desperately now she moves closer,
Her movements more erratic and frantic.
She longs to reach his molten core,
To immolate herself within him.

At last she runs to him wild with desire.
Determined to consummate her passion.
Only to be tossed upon the floor,
A shell of herself, a charred remain.

Thus ends the ill fated tale of the bug and the bug zapper, now playing on patios everywhere this summer.
