While the radio was telling me
About spiritual surrealism
Loretta called from Texas

She had a great deal in the Dells
Lift tickets and hotel stays for four
Riding the rides and thrill shows

She was so cute on the phone
I could not just slam it down
Cursing the telemarketer
Making her living by annoying most

Not me, not on this moon filled night
Wanting passion, simple uncomplicated
Words in my ear
In the end I told her

Sorry for taking up so much
Of your time, Loretta
I fall for you, not your mission
