What do men want
a good friend asked
sex and money
that will last,
until the morning
until next week
that is what
I think men seek,

A fast car
a head of hair
a reasonable set
of clothes to wear,
Premier Status
when boarding a plane
somewhere to get
out of the rain,

A healthy life
no extra weight
an Einstein brain
a sexy date,
on Friday night
Saturday too
not just anyone
will do,

A super model
with a quirky smile
someone they've
known awhile,
who can change a tire
and land a plane
keep them happy
and half sane,

Someone who
does not exist
or is out there
but just missed,
the girl one sees
at the departure gate
then disappears
didn't wait,

Fantasy
at three a.m.
on the moon
outside the LEM,
some other world
lost in space
did I recognize
your face,

Did we meet
somewhere in France
a spring day
Parisian dance,
a glass of wine
an evening walk
along the Seine
did we talk,

Did we trade
secret facts
wants and wishes
surface cracks,
tell, perhaps
more than we planned
all the beaches
those gains of sand,

All the stars
the night sky
make a wish
a place to fly,
escape the Earth's
gravity
with my hand
on your knee,

I'm a believer
of Parallel Space
more realities
than we face,
everyday
every week
the n-dimension
that we seek,

So, some dark night
let's watch the stars
listen to
distance cars,
rolling somewhere
somewhere fast
but we'll go slow
and make it last ...
