It is a case where I felt that the text was illustrating this stunning visual.
This poem was mentioned in the Archival Review thread, in a picking through Lit's archive of over 36,000 poems.

Wonderful juxtaposition with a feeling that at times the illustration dominates and suddenly the text takes over.
I especially loved the last line, "Serenity graces the night."
The last line has such a peaceful feel to it.
I am not ordinarily a fan of "illustrated", this is well done.
1 question, why are the moral dilemmas obvious?
...when it appeared in the PDF and loved it. I still do, it's all the more impressive that it's a first!

Illustrated poems put forward an interesting problem of how to avoid either the image or the text illustrating the other rather than both elements being in parallel and essential to the whole.
Good poem.

This is a great first effort at an illustrated poem--good fit with the image and the poem is wonderful. I enjoyed it in the Picture This thread and seeing it here, too. :) Ange
I am not a poetry fan routinely.
But this one really achieves that rare moment when I really liked something.
Excellent match to the image.
