This morning as
I slipped drowsily
into the shower
outside my window
raindrops drove gentle rhythms
drenching the fuchsias
and camellias below

Their tiny new buds
opened eager to
quench their thirst
in the winter rain while
inside a warm mist
of pulsating water
descended on golden hair
cascading down around
glistening breasts

As my hands
caressed the last
bubbly remnants of
soap away from
newly radiant skin
I drifted away lost
as my hands transformed
into yours finding their way
over soft, sinewy curves
eager to greet you

I sat on the small bench
imagining the firm muscles
of your thighs holding me
tight against a strong chest
while my lips warmed and unfolded
plump against the cool water
pulsing against their folds
floating me higher
in a growing crescendo
lost in feelings that melt me
rising with the mist
across my cheek

Fingers played with
hardening nipples while
you held my legs on either
side of yours
your strong arm possessing
and pressing me back
nestled into your chest
releasing me renewed
to a morning of delight

you were here…
