These two people appear to be on completely different pages in their lives. Neither seems to have known or cared enough to try giving their partner what she or he wanted in their respective ideas of being married.

It does look like their marriage is over, so her email would be enough to gaurentee a swift divorce. {sigh} I guess it's probably the best for both of them anyway.

samantha, under the circumstances, it is the appropriate thing to do. your possessions will be boxed, the necessary financial re-arrangements made and other things will be done. there will be no need for further contact, except to sign papers, and that need not be face to face. hopefully your expectations for a new life will be met.
