Anonymousabout 3 years agoThere's some of the backstory for Matthew I was looking for! I feel bad for him, now seeing more of what he's seen and gone through. I'm afraid Christian will kill him.... Is the only way Matthew can find peace is through death? :(
It is nice to see Christian's compassion come through, a bit of understanding of why Matthew feels the way he does. Good story, now I have to see it through to end, even if I cry buckets of tears. Sigh. - Theresa

canndalmost 14 years agoThat's more like it. You created pity for Matthew. You showed Christian and Rafe's goodness...if Christian has to hurt Matthew it will be in self-defense. It is sad Matthew is so damaged. I liked the chapter alot.

Sirens_Cryabout 14 years agoDont make us wait! I love this story. I agree though killing Mathew would suck and Kinlye wouldn't forgive Christian for it. Maybe after a knock down brawl Mathew might realize that Christian was not a monster like the other vamps he has known. Keep up the great writing!

coffinbaitabout 14 years agoI would so go for christian and I hope you write that way too. although I do hope that Matthew dreams of the same girl he thinks is Kinlye but then notices something like she has a birthmark or something that kinlye doesn't have so his real soulmate is someone else how do you pronounce the girl's name is it lee or lye as in lye the instrument or lie the word?

cantfightfateabout 14 years agothe right choice and is showing some backbone. I'm teetering between disliking Matthew and pitying him. He's had a hard life and he's a lunatic. But not every person who's had a hard life is crazy... I don't know what to think. I don't see what Kinlye sees when she looks at him. At this point, I don't really care what happens to him, as long as he doesn't interfere with Kinlye and Christian. However, I'm sure you could convince me of his worth in his own story :) Thanks for writing.
