I loved Wings of Gray and I'm so happy to see you doing another story from the same world. This was a good first chapter and I can't wait to read more. And I hope that as the story progresses that Connor, little by little, will be able to chip away at Neil frozen heart and show him the good in people again. Though I have to admit he would have had me the moment he made me chocolate chip pancakes, you have to be made of truly cold and hard stuff to not accept the wonderfully delicious magic that are chocolate chip pancakes so there is hope for Neil yet! :D

Hope this doesn't end as depressingly as the grey wings story…seriously that one made me cry…
