As a longtime zombie fan going back to the old cheese George Romero films, this story is pretty solid. I think the end leaves many questions, but that will make for a good sequel.

Nice ending, very cleverly, you do several things; a short & sweet tying up tying of loose ends, leaves mystery, the chance for a sequel, and invites responses from other authors without locking them into any set way as all experiences would be unique. Well done

A fair amount of mechanical errors throughout the story, but it moved fast and stayed light and fun. And the end... oh the end was wonderful! It makes me want to abandon my WIP and crank out a zombie story to go alongside yours! I'm not going to... I've got deadlines and such, but I want to.
