A really good Story!
Thought provoking and definitely not the normal type of story on this site, highlighting that there's two sides to every argument but in reality "WE" all wish for the same things, hope, freedom, and definitely love!
Thank you so much!
Letting go of big emotions Love won out hate and dead .... Yes a lovely romance in the middle of the most conflicted landmarks on the planet ...... And war what is it good for, absolutely nothing, say it again - this was my absolute favorite song in the 80's Frankie goes to Hollywood ..... The horror in the consequence is the poorest ones living on the streets and having nothing to eat or drink ...... Thank You for this eye opener as forgetting is ahumans strategy but yes we don't learn .... Another comment here pointed it out for millennias we are fighting and killing and we never stopped ...... And we call us intelligent

So many things to say, but it only matters that the history of my family is tied to the location stated in the story. My did was born in Safed, which at the time was in Palestine.I have so many times wished I could travel there.
For millennia we human beings have killed each other in God's name, or Allah's, or Yahweh's. What if, with however many names, they are all the same being? The Supreme Being, our Creator. And we, all of us, by whatever Faith, whatever gender, are all His children.
Personally, I think He's at least disappointed in us. Or very pissed off.
He sent a flood once.
The story shows that it is people who make up this world. And it is our choice to love or hate. And what has hate ever gotten us?
A poignant love story across the divide. I simply love the way the author describes the passion and love between these two woman " IT BECAME A RACE, NOT TO GET PLEASURE, BUT TO GIVE IT, AND IN THAT SELFLESS MODE, THEY FOUND SERENDIPITY "
*** LOVED IT ***
Wonderful, wonderful, delicately balanced story. What a talent.
Others have better written praise for this story. Suffice it to say, and based only on this story and "The Furies", your calling is as a writer/storyteller. Thank you for sharing your talent with us, the fortunate readers.

Amazing. Nothing more and nothing less. I love your stories Colleen!
thank you that is an amazing story itself without the action delivering a lesson many fail to learn, upon which they may seek what they feel is the only way out. i once thought there was no purpose in life for me, and the i met my teacher and somehow she managed to become my hero. She saved my life because i was at the point of hurting myself and wanting to die. But after talkin for some time she got it through my rough exterior that things can change if we want them to and there is always more than one choice
Taut, fast-paced, and yet lingering and delicious in all of the right places. This is a stirring blend of action, emotion, and passionate desire. Well done, Colly.
I love action stories with strong competent female characters and this was won of the best I've read. Great action and I thought the scene where Ablaa had Sarah captive was highly erotic and well written. Great exciting story with a great message everyone can learn from. Very well done!
You are such a good writer. But this story is very very special. Thank You!
What an incredibly wonderful story! I enjoyed it so very much. You have such a great talent, thank you for sharing it!!

Wonderful Colly, absolutly wonderful. You brought two women on opposite sides of a battle and brought them together with a tenderness and caring that took my breath away.

...of the power of human nature and deeper understanding. Powerful and vivid in its descriptions, brave and insightful in theme, this story really pulled me in and warmed my heart by the end. Very thorough and smooth, Red. You should be proud of it.

I enjoyed your story very much. You did a good job of bringing your characters to life and making them people we'd like to know more about! I look forward to reading more!
Exquisite story. Absolutely LOVED this sentence:
"It became a race, not to get pleasure, but to give it, and in that selfless mode they found serendipity ...." ~Imp
Truly one of the best pieces of writing I've had the pleasure of enjoying on this site. Your work has always set a very high standard and this story has raised the bar still further. Bravo!!
and passionate. A story of hope, love and passion. And one that can hopefully kindle a spark of the same in all who read it. Bravely and, as always, beautifully written. Thank you. Mat xx
An exquisitely heartfelt story. Beautifully written, with wonderful detail. Perhaps this is the only way peace will
ever arrive in the mideast, when two totally different cultures learn to listen & then respect each other. Bravo.
